Neutrodine®, proprietary filtration system
Unprecedented Flexibility and Results
At the heart of GFH® Technologies is a revolutionary new filtration system offering total versatility and superior retention capacity.

The result of over 45 years of research and development in the laboratories of Erlab®—the world leader in non-ducted filtration—Neutrodine® represents one of the most significant advancements in the history of carbon filtration technology.
For the first time ever it is possible to efficiently handle
- acids,
- solvents,
- bases ...

with the same filter.
In fact, Neutrodine® can handle such a broad spectrum of molecules that it allows GFH® to compete with the usage capabilities of traditional fume hoods.
All without the major drawbacks of significant energy consumption, installation costs and toxic atmospheric emissions.

Neutrodine vs. traditional carbon

  • Multi-usage of acids, solvents, separated or combined.
  • Airflow speed within the adsorption media increased by 25%.
  • 50%+ increase in retention capacity, which doubles filter life.
  • Increased variety of retained molecules to more than 98% of commonly used chemicals within 99.9% of laboratories. The remaining 2% are either non-toxic or extremely rare molecules used by less than 0.1% of labs.
* Check partner specifications for actual face velocity of your desired model.

A revolutionnary filtration system offering versatility and superior retention capacity.

Neutrodine has been engineered by Erlab's chemists and physicists to effectively adsorb a broad spectrum of molecules while increasing retention capacity. The result is a multitask filtration system that is far more effective than traditional carbons:

The Neutrodine filtration system is compliant with NFX15-211, the stringent industry standard developed by a committee of independent scientists and manufacturers specializing in filtration and safety.
This standard establishes specific performance criteria which requires that the emissions concentration at the filter exhaust must be lower than 1% of the TLV.
The performance of the Neutrodine filters and their retention capacities have been tested in compliance with the NFX 15-211 : 2009 by Intertek, an expert in the conformity certification of products.
